A block slides down a frictionless incline of angle theta. What is its acceleration?
g sin(theta), directed along the incline. Only the component of gravity along the slope drives the motion, while the perpendicular component is balanced by the normal force. Resolving forces along and across the incline is the core mechanics skill.
Two resistors of 3 ohm and 6 ohm are connected in parallel. What is the equivalent resistance?
2 ohm. For parallel resistors, 1/R = 1/3 + 1/6 = 1/2, so R = 2 ohm. A quick sanity check: the parallel combination is always smaller than the smallest resistor.
Which has the larger atomic radius, sodium (Na) or magnesium (Mg)?
Sodium. Across a period the nuclear charge rises while electrons fill the same shell, pulling them inward, so radius shrinks left to right. Na in group 1 is therefore larger than Mg in group 2 - a periodic-trends favourite.

A realistic JEE Main study timeline
You can't cram JEE Main, but you can sequence it. This timeline assumes a two-year run alongside Class 11 and 12; compress the phases if you're starting later, but never skip the mock phase - speed is the last skill to develop and the first to be tested.
