Why quizzing beats memorising lists
Reading a list of facts creates recognition, not recall - you'll nod along but blank when asked. Testing yourself forces retrieval, which is what actually cements a fact in memory. An adaptive quiz also meets each student at their level, so a younger student and a quiz-club veteran both get a fair challenge.
Make it a habit
A short daily GK round beats an occasional marathon. Play a few questions, read the explanation for anything new, and the facts compound. For exam-oriented GK, move on to the SSC and UPSC quizzes once general GK feels easy.
