SAT Vocabulary Quiz - FAQs
Does the SAT still have a vocabulary section?
Not as a standalone section, and not as obscure-word memorisation. Vocabulary now appears as Words in Context questions inside Reading and Writing, where you pick the word that fits a specific sentence - so the skill being tested is reading the context, not reciting definitions.
Are word lists still worth studying?
Moderately. A list of mid-difficulty academic words that shift meaning by context is useful; a list of 3,000 rare words is not, because the test rewards choosing precisely between words you already half-know rather than recognising exotic ones.
Is the sat vocabulary quiz free?
Yes - completely free, with no sign-up required. Type a topic, press start, and the AI generates an adaptive SAT Vocabulary quiz with an explanation for every answer.
Can teachers host this sat vocabulary quiz live for a class?
Yes - create a free teacher account, host a live room on "SAT Vocabulary", and students join with a 6-character code at quff.in/join. No student accounts needed.
