What SAT Math covers
The section groups its content into four areas: Algebra (linear equations and systems), Advanced Math (quadratics, exponentials, and functions), Problem-Solving and Data Analysis (ratios, percentages, rates, and interpreting data), and Geometry and Trigonometry (a smaller share, covering area, volume, angles and right triangles).
Algebra and Advanced Math make up the majority of the questions, so they deserve the most practice.
Calculator and question types
On the Digital SAT, a graphing calculator is built in and allowed on the entire Math section, which makes graphing and checking answers fast. Questions are mostly multiple choice, with some student-produced responses where you type the answer yourself.
