Exam focus

How Human Physiology is asked

Biology supplies half of NEET's questions, and Human Physiology is the biggest unit within it - confirm the current pattern in NTA's information bulletin, since NTA does not publish chapter-wise weightage and any figures you see are coaching estimates from past papers. Questions are overwhelmingly NCERT-line based, including from diagrams and tables, which makes the textbook itself the primary source rather than a supplement.

Common mistakes in Human Physiology

  • Studying the systems in isolation. NEET regularly asks questions that cross systems - how the kidney and the endocrine system jointly regulate blood pressure, or how breathing links to blood pH - so revising by connection beats revising by chapter.
  • Skipping NCERT diagrams and tables. A substantial number of questions come directly from labelled figures and comparison tables, and reading only the prose leaves those unprepared.
  • Confusing hormones with their sources and targets. Build one table of gland, hormone, target and effect and revise it repeatedly; scattered learning here is a reliable source of lost marks.
  • Mixing up the enzymes and their sites of action in digestion. Which enzyme acts in the mouth, stomach and small intestine, and at which pH, is asked directly and often.
  • Assuming deoxygenated always means the right side of the heart. The pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood and the pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood - the reverse of every other artery and vein.

NEET Human Physiology Quiz - FAQs

How much of NEET Biology comes from NCERT?

The overwhelming majority, which is why NEET preparation advice is so consistent on this point. Questions are frequently traceable to specific NCERT lines, diagrams and tables, so the productive approach is to read NCERT repeatedly and use other material only for practice questions.

What is the best way to revise Human Physiology?

Build comparison tables and flow diagrams rather than rereading. A single table of glands, hormones and effects, or a flowchart of the nephron, compresses a chapter's worth of scattered facts into something you can test yourself against in minutes.

Is the neet human physiology quiz free?

Yes - completely free, with no sign-up required. Type a topic, press start, and the AI generates an adaptive Human Physiology quiz with an explanation for every answer.

Can teachers host this neet human physiology quiz live for a class?

Yes - create a free teacher account, host a live room on "Human Physiology", and students join with a 6-character code at quff.in/join. No student accounts needed.
