Chemistry: three branches, different strategies
Chemistry is often the most scoring section in JEE Main because much of it rewards memory and pattern recognition. Physical Chemistry concentrates marks in numerical chapters like mole concept, thermodynamics, equilibrium, electrochemistry and chemical kinetics. Inorganic Chemistry is largely NCERT-based recall - chemical bonding, the p-block, coordination compounds and periodic properties appear often.
Organic Chemistry rewards understanding reaction mechanisms and reasoning over rote memorisation, with general organic chemistry, hydrocarbons, and the common functional-group families recurring. Treat each branch with its own method - drill numericals in physical, memorise and revise facts in inorganic, and build mechanism intuition in organic.
